Something new

If you have done any poking around on the blog lately, you may have noticed that I have added two new pages which you will find under the This Ugly Beautiful City logo. These pages were inspired by reading other blogs and from all of the advice I have been giving to readers and friends each week.

Information for visitors

The first page is called Information for Visitors. I can’t believe I forgot this important step for people who have never visited Los Angeles before or haven’t visited in a really long time. Sometimes you have to step away from your blog and be a reader when you are so deep into your own head. This page will have all the information you need to plan your travel to Los Angeles. It also helps you through those first few hours after landing; how you leave the airport, how you get to various points in the city, where can you exchange currency, etc.

Monthly calendar

I really want to thank everyone who has asked questions during office hours on Facebook or in person. You inspired me to add my recommendations for Los Angeles in a calendar format. Each day I will choose something I think is worth doing that day. 

Finally, since I am starting over with content and Los Angeles is so active in the summer, I can’t talk about everything in a long format like a blog. I will talk about everything I recommend one day. Until then, I strongly encourage you to follow me on Facebook at www.facebook.com/thisuglybeautifulcity. I have given so much advice for things to do in Los Angeles and coming up soon, my advice for Las Vegas which is a short flight or drive from Los Angeles.
