Review
Whether you’re a local or a tourist, an outing with Kristen feels like a backstage pass to the culture, food, and hidden gems of Los Angeles. On our Chinatown tour this spring, our senses were fully engaged — by unique food and drink, bright lanterns and colorful architecture, even a tactile exploration at an art gallery (as encouraged by the artist)! Kristen weaves a bit of history with the latest happenings (like about-to-open restaurants), opening your eyes to what is beautiful in the city right in front of you. Highly recommend a tour with her, or hiring her expertise for bespoke travel plans…she knows her stuff!

Reading L.A. Book Club

For the people who want to know Los Angeles through the words written about it. We read books set in or about L.A., meet to discuss them, then take the story off the page with a related field trip — a museum visit, a metro adventure, a walking tour of the actual setting.
It’s part book club, part living history lesson, part excuse to finally ride the Metro somewhere new.
- We read a new book every month and a half
- We jump genres and voices, never concentrating on one perspective
- We explore the many Los Angeles neighborhoods
- $50 for the year or $6 per month

It’s so relaxing to sit back and trust her to make great plans that I know will bring me somewhere new and interesting.
